My favorite place to visit is Topsail, North Carolina, where I go on turtle walks, get fudge from the Topsail Trading Company and gather shark teeth.
I have been on Dragon’s Breath Flight Line, the world’s longest zipline over water, spanning 2,600 feet, in Labadee, Haiti.
I came to work at NC State in 2016 at the College of Veterinary Medicine. During orientation, I saw a lion from a circus.
I once went on a small group tour of a red wolf enclosure to learn about efforts to repopulate the species and to place a donated pine tree in the enclosure.
I worked at WakeMed Raleigh before coming to NC State in 2016. I worked with traumatic brain injury and spinal cord injury patients in the Neuroscience Intensive Care Unit for approximately seven years.
