I’ve been involved in TRIO, a program that helps students from disadvantaged socioeconomic backgrounds access higher education, my entire professional career.
The piano is my safe space. I’ve played for over 25 years.
I’m a proud member of Phi Beta Sigma fraternity. I’m an active member of a graduate chapter that provides extensive community service in Durham County.
I moved to Raleigh without ever visiting to pursue a master’s degree in communication at NC State. Fifteen years later, I’m still a member of the Pack.
I am happily married. Antoinyce and I have three children: 7-year-old twins Gordyn and Winston and 2-year-old Evan.
