NC State and I share the same birthday: March 7. I didn’t know that until after I decided to attend NC State as an undergrad.
I am a proud Wolfpack alumnus. I’ve earned two degrees at NC State: a Bachelor of Science in applied math and a Master of Science in math education. I’m considering trying to earn a Ph.D. in the future.
I’ve worked as a professional at the Academic Success Center for over five years, but I began working at the center in January 2013 as an undergrad tutor. I loved helping students succeed academically so much that I decided to make it my career.
The only time I’ve had to go to the emergency room was during my first trip outside the United States. I still love traveling, though.
In my free time, I enjoy trying new recipes, finishing my latest read, training for my next half-marathon or relaxing at the beach.
