I am the proud mother of two spirited boys, ages 6 and 2.
I have lived in every geographic region of North Carolina and loved them all.
I have several favorite trees and plants around campus, and I go out of my way to check on them during walks.
I grew up in a family that loved racing cars. My grandfather was an amateur race car driver in Rockingham, and my father was on an International Hot Rod Association racing team for many years.
My favorite thing about my job will always be helping students. I knew from an early age I wanted to be an educator, and I have been lucky to be able to be in the field.
