In 2021, I received the Furney K. James Outstanding Service Award from the North Carolina Association of Colleges and Employers.
My role is very interesting because I provide career services to all College of Veterinary Medicine students and house officers and manage employer relations.
When vacationing in the western part of the state, one of my favorite recreational activities is hiking to waterfalls.
My 13-plus years in education include experience in large and midsized public universities and small women’s colleges, including one that transitioned to become a coeducational institution.
In my free time, I enjoy being with my husband, daughter and our dog, a golden retriever.
