I came to the U.S. from the Bahamas as an international student to study communications more than a decade ago. I fell in love with higher education and student affairs and have remained in the U.S. ever since.
I have lived in three states and five cities in the U.S. Being in all these different cultural contexts has helped me broaden my worldview and learn so much about people.
I’ve completed three-degree programs and two graduate certificates. While working on my Doctor of Education degree at Gardner-Webber University, I was enrolled at two other institutions and earned my two graduate certificates almost simultaneously.
I travel out of town and explore food in a new space at least one weekend every month.
I have watched every episode of Law and Order SVU, Organized Crime and the NCIS series. Additionally, I go to an AMC theater to watch movies at least twice a month.
