I earned a degree in dental hygiene at UNC-Chapel Hill and worked as a dental hygienist before I entered the higher education workforce. Although I left that field, I still have a special interest in dental health!
I was a Wake Tech student ambassador prior to transferring to UNC. It was a very rewarding and wonderful developmental experience. My face was on the website’s banner at one point.
My twin sister and husband are NC State alumni, so my heart has always been very fond of this university. I caught a few games while Russell Wilson was our quarterback.
I adore rabbits and have been fortunate to have three of them in my life. Only one is currently alive, my black dwarf rabbit Doki. I got her as a baby in July 2010, and she is still very spunky!
I love to sing and to create things, from drawing and sewing to baking desserts and making candles! At times doing those things is my outlet, and at other times they become my stressor because I’m very hard on myself.
