Murphy Center
The NC State Onboarding Center will host tours of the Wendell H. Murphy Football Center on March 15 and 17.

The Onboarding Center is hosting free on-campus tours so employees can learn about campus landmarks and the history of NC State. Whether you’re a new employee or a longtime member of the Pack, please consider registering for one or more of the tours, and encourage your colleagues to do the same.

Murphy Football Center Tour

The Onboarding Center will host two one-hour tours of the Wendell H. Murphy Football Center. This state-of-the-art football facility houses every aspect of Wolfpack football, including sports medicine, equipment, academics, and the strength and conditioning center. The tours are set for 10-11:30 a.m. March 29 and 2-3:30 p.m. March 30. The center has been described as one of the best football facilities in the country. Space on the tour is limited, so reserve your spot as soon as possible. The tour group will meet at the wolf statue in front of the football center, which is located at 4600 Trinity Road in Raleigh.

We hope you are able to join us in learning more about this great facility. Each tour of the center has its own registration form. Go to REPORTER to sign up for the March 29 tour or the March 30 tour

North Campus Tour

Guided walking tours of NC State’s North Campus are set for April 11 and April 12 from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.

North Campus, which is sometimes referred to as “original campus,” includes many of the first academic buildings built at NC State. That part of campus is north of the railroad tracks that run along Yarbrough Drive.

The Onboarding Center will host walking tours of NC State’s North Campus on April 11 and 12.
The Court of North Carolina will be one of the places the Onboarding Center will highlight during its walking tours of North Campus on April 11 and 12.

The 1.5-mile walking tours will begin outside Talley Student Union in front of the Starbucks on Cates Avenue. The tours will highlight some of NC State’s history and iconic landmarks, including Reynolds Coliseum, University Plaza, which is known as the Brickyard, and the Court of North Carolina.

If you have questions about the tours or need to arrange accommodations under the Americans with Disabilities Act, send an email to onboardingcenter@ncsu.edu. Remember to wear weather-appropriate clothing and comfortable shoes on the tours.
