Save the Date: Annual Enrollment Set for Nov. 2-19

Annual benefits enrollment for the 2020 calendar year for University of North Carolina System institutions will commence Saturday, Nov. 2 and end Tuesday, Nov. 19, 2019.

Please note this enrollment period is shorter than in previous years, lasting only 18 days. This is the period set aside to make benefits selections. The State Health Plan will not grant an extension to enroll or reenroll in benefits after the annual benefits enrollment period ends.

University Human Resources encourages you to mark this important period on your calendar as a reminder, so you’ll be prepared to make the benefits changes you want for the 2020 calendar year.

More detailed information about annual enrollment will be provided as it gets closer, including the dates for faculty and staff annual enrollment benefit sessions.

For now, faculty and staff can download the benefits enrollment app, Benefitfocus, to save time during the shorter annual enrollment period.
