Nuclear Reactor Tour

• NC State’s nuclear reactor is one of two PULSTAR reactors that were built but is the only one still in operation.
• Space on the tour is limited, so reserve your spot as soon as possible. The tour group will meet in the lobby of the lab by the big blue sign. Enter the building through the north entrance.
• Time: 10:00 am – 11:00 am

Free Yoga

• Take a break from your day and enjoy a free yoga class on Centennial Campus. Classes are held every weekday, except when the university is closed, from 12:15 to 1:05 p.m. The classes are open to everyone, and registration is not required. Please bring your own mat.

Relaxation Station

• Visit a relaxation station near you. Take home your own self-care kit designed to excite the senses, and express your creativity by painting through rock, canvas, and tote bag mediums. Make your own coaster while supplies last, play board games with a friend, or take some time to enjoy the calming atmosphere. Choose wellness your way!

Decoding the DNA of Career Growth

• Many people focus on tasks in their job, but career growth comes from understanding the skills behind those tasks. In this interactive session, participants will decode the “DNA” of their current role by identifying the technical, human, and strategic skills behind their work. The session will also help employees recognize future-state skills that can support long term career growth.

Ice Cream Social-Stafford Commons

• Howl about some ice cream? We want to thank Our Extraordinary Pack for all you do to make NC State a great workplace. Drop by Stafford commons, behind Talley Student Union, between 12:00-2:00 pm for some Howling Cow ice cream while supplies last. Feel free to bring a chair or picnic blanket. Field games will be set up for anyone to play. You can also participate in line dancing and visit with therapy dogs.
