Team-Building Thursday Details
Participate in a scheduled team-building activity with your Wolfpack or plan your own activity. Enjoy some Howling Cow ice cream or participate in a webinar.
ACTIVITIES & WEBINARS
Lake Raleigh Hike
- Please join us for a walk through the Lake Raleigh Woods, one of NC State’s hidden gems and Hallowed Spaces. The hike is about 1.5 miles. Below are a few things to remember for the hike:
- Make sure to park in the northwest corner of the Park Alumni Center parking lot a little before 9 a.m. for a brief safety conversation. Parking is free for everyone.
- Wear closed-toed shoes and bring a water bottle.
- Check the weather forecast and wear weather-appropriate clothing on the hike.
- Restrooms are available in the Alumni Center. There are no facilities on the trail.
- The hike will last approximately 90 minutes but could be a little shorter depending on the group’s pace.

Murphy Center Tour
- The Murphy Center has been referred to as one of the best football facilities in the country and features the Wolfpack “Hall of Champions”, a theatre, a full sports medicine component, including whirl pools and an underwater treadmill, a player’s lounge, academic support, locker rooms, coaches offices, player conference rooms, a television studio, and much more. The tour will last approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. We will meet at the wolf statue in front of the Murphy Center. The Murphy Center is located at 4600 Trinity Road, you do not need a permit to park at the Murphy Center.

Relaxation Station
- Visit a relaxation station near you. Take home your own self-care kit designed to excite the senses, and express your creativity by painting through rock, canvas, and tote bag mediums. Make your own coaster while supplies last, play board games with a friend, or take some time to enjoy the calming atmosphere. Choose wellness your way!

Free Yoga
- Take a break from your day and enjoy a free yoga class on Centennial Campus. Classes are held every weekday, except when the university is closed, from 12:15 to 1:05 p.m. The classes are open to everyone, and registration is not required. Please bring your own mat.

CVM Hospital Tour
- We are thrilled to invite you for an exclusive tour of NC State College of Veterinary Medicine’s Hospital complex, where the next generation of veterinarians meets the cutting edge of medical innovation across our companion animal, equine, and farm animal facilities. As one of the top-ranked veterinary programs in the nation, the College of Veterinary Medicine is a global leader in life-saving research and specialized clinical care. This “behind-the-scenes” experience offers a unique look at how our faculty, staff and students transform animal health daily, illustrating the vital role our various hospitals play within the university and the broader North Carolina community.
- Parking & Arrival Instructions
- Parking Please park in any “C” permit designated space. The most convenient options are the CBC North Lot (located near the intersection of William Moore Dr. and Blue Ridge Rd.) or the CVM Parking Deck.
- *If you do not have a standard NC State employee permit, please utilize the Pay-by-Plate visitor spaces via the ParkMobile app (Zone # to be noted on-site).
- Parking lots directly in front of the Terry Center and the Equine & Farm Animal hospitals are strictly reserved for hospital clients with patients. Staying in the other “C” lots will ensure no one ends up with an accidental souvenir ticket!
- Meeting Location Once parked, please head to the Main CVM Building (1060 William Moore Dr.) which is at the end of the long brick walkway. We will meet in the Main Lobby/Reception area to begin the tour.

Centennial Campus Running Club: Wolves on the Run
- Wolves on the Run is a running and walking club open to all. Join your colleagues and friends for a social run or walk on Centennial Campus. We meet at the dock at Lake Raleigh.

Live at Lake Raleigh: Palmyra
- For the final concert of the 2026 LIVE at Lake Raleigh series, we welcome the Virginia-based Americana/folk rock band Palmyra. This trio – first seen by our team at Raleigh Wide Open last October – exists at the intersection of indie rock and raw folk music. They explore the fusion of traditional folk string instruments, lush harmony, and earnest songwriting.
- This free, family-friendly concert series on the picturesque shore of Lake Raleigh is a collaboration between NC State LIVE and NC State Centennial, and celebrates the unique voices of North Carolina’s extraordinary music scene. Bring your picnic blankets and enjoy dance-inducing music, delicious food and an amazing community gathering. The gates will open and food trucks will be on-site at 5 p.m. Concerts will begin at 6 p.m.
