- During my senior year at NC State, I appeared on ESPN television while cheering for the NC State men’s basketball team during a game.
- I have two amazing sons with unintentionally NC State-affiliated names. One of them was born on a major Triangle-area road.
- I hope to one day visit every major national park in the United States. I have already hiked at the Grand Canyon in the snow and gone white-water rafting at New River Gorge.
- I was born in Holland but grew up in Southern Pines, North Carolina. I have also lived in Williamsburg, Virginia, so I have tips for those who want to visit Busch Gardens.
- I have experience working in the pharmaceutical industry, physical therapy offices, criminal justice counseling, residential mental health and outreach programming. Please reach out to me to collaborate on an event.
