- Pigeons are my favorite animal. They are adaptable to many environments and have a strong sense of home. Once a core part of human history, they have long been forgotten and deserve more appreciation.
- I write songs for fun. What began as a private journaling exercise through piano and vocal music is now something I am much more comfortable sharing with others.
- The Out! Raleigh Pride logo is part of my design portfolio. My redesign won a community vote in 2022. I drew inspiration from the former logo’s inclusion of the Raleigh skyline inside an acorn.
- Supporting local ice cream shops is a pastime of mine. We all know and love Howling Cow at NC State, but I am a frequent visitor at Andia’s, FRESH Local Ice Cream and Two Roosters.
- I volunteer as secretary on the Triangle Pride Band Board of Directors. We offer various spaces to express yourself musically through a chorus and our symphonic, jazz and marching bands.
