I am a native of Northeast Ohio and grew up near Cleveland. It was my wife’s dream to eventually relocate to North Carolina, so her dream became my dream, and we couldn’t be happier here.
I began my career in municipal parks and recreation. I worked with summer camps for over 25 years. I have been working in higher education for over 19 years.
My most important role in this life is being a husband to my wife, Courtney, for 20 years and a dad to our four children. My family is my greatest happiness, joy and love.
I love volunteering in our community. I helped start the Friends of Johnston County Parks and now help coach our youngest daughter’s travel soccer team.
I am an NC State wellness champion and enjoy endurance racing. I’ve completed over a dozen triathlons and five half marathons.
