As a bioinformatician, I fell in love with the field during my master’s program, and it completely took over my Ph.D. program. While others grimaced at hours in front of a computer, I got a kick out of it.
I was born near Lake Como, Italy. My favorite view is early morning, looking north along the Alps. I’ve also lived in Canada, and now I’m based in Raleigh.
