- I grew up in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, (I am not Amish) and graduated from Susquehanna University, a private college in Pennsylvania.
- I ran in an international marathon that started in Buffalo, New York, crossed over the Niagara River and ended at the Niagara Falls in Canada. Kathrine Switzer, the first woman to run in the Boston Marathon as an officially registered competitor, was there, and it was inspirational to meet her.
- I enjoy working at NC State because I love the vibrant community and the connections I’ve made here. I met my husband and best friends at Susquehanna. My college experience taught me that a university is more than just a place to work or study; it’s where life happens.
- I love traveling, and my most recent favorite vacation was a trip to Yosemite National Park.
- I am a chocolate thief. I rarely resist the temptation of chocolate treats.
