- My journey in the education field started in 1998 as a North Carolina teaching fellow at NC State. I taught middle school science for eight years, and since 2010, I have been in the athletic academic support field.
- While Raleigh is my forever home, I am a New Yorker at heart who grew up in Long Island. I am a big fan of the Yankees, Italian bakeries and New York-style pizza.
- My husband, Scott, and I love animals and are lucky to be pet parents to a 2-year-old cat named Cannoli.
- I serve as the first vice president of the National Association of Academic and Student-Athlete Development Professionals, and I am serving my second year of my four-year term.
- Music is my favorite way to decompress. I love going to concerts and collecting vinyl records.
