Register for Free Tours of the PULSTAR Nuclear Reactor, Reynolds Coliseum

The Onboarding Center hosts free on-campus tours so employees can learn about campus landmarks and the history of NC State. Whether you’re a new employee or a longtime member of the Pack, please consider registering for one or more of the tours, and encourage your colleagues to do the same.

PULSTAR Nuclear Reactor Tour

Take a special tour of the PULSTAR nuclear reactor on Tuesday, Dec. 5, from 10-11 a.m., or Wednesday, Dec. 6, from 1-2 p.m. in the Burlington Nuclear Engineering Lab at 2500 Katharine Stinson Drive. NC State’s nuclear reactor is one of two PULSTAR reactors that were built but is the only one still in operation.

Space on the tour is limited, so reserve your spot as soon as possible. The tour group will meet in the lobby of the lab by the big blue sign. Enter the building through the north entrance.

Tour policy requires participants to provide a photo ID during the check-in process.

We hope you can join us in learning about the PULSTAR Reactor. Go to REPORTER to sign up for the Dec. 5 tour or the Dec. 6 tour

Reynolds Coliseum Tour

Reynolds Coliseum, one of the most iconic buildings on campus, was once considered one of the toughest places to play in the Atlantic Coast Conference. Tom Stafford, retired vice chancellor for student affairs, will lead a tour of the historic building from 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. on Dec. 8.

Space on the tour is limited, so reserve your spot as soon as possible. The tour group will meet in front of Reynolds on Dunn Avenue.
