I am a native North Carolinian originally from Saxapahaw.
I graduated from NC State with a master’s degree in 2016.
While I spent the early part of my career in biotech, I love working in higher education. Before coming to NC State, I worked at Duke University on data policy.
I find hiking extremely relaxing and reinvigorating. The tops of mountains are my happy place.
I often drink a caffeinated holly plant drink called yerba maté. I find it to be a great alternative to coffee, though I’ll always have a place in my heart for southern-style sweet tea.
