The Learning and Organizational Development team has designed a fun challenge to encourage staff and faculty to participate in professional development opportunities in October.

October is Learning and Development Month. L&OD hopes the Learning and Development October Challenge encourages you to use the month to take advantage of tools and learning opportunities to grow your skills and advance your career. Whether it’s building leadership skills, sharpening technical knowledge or exploring personal development, continuous learning helps you thrive at work and beyond.

The challenge requires participants to complete self-directed activities, such as watching a LinkedIn Learning video course, attending a webinar or practicing a new skill. Everyone who completes the challenge will receive a small prize and will be entered into a drawing for free classes offered by L&OD and other learning resources.
