I was an industrial maintenance apprentice at Novo Nordisk for three years. I completed my applied engineering degree at Johnston Community College in May 2021. I started working at NC State in August 2021.
My passion is art, and I enjoy creating useful and beautiful creations. I work with different media, including welding, painting and resin casting. My best friend, Nicole, taught me to make dream catchers.
I have a wonderful family. I married my amazing husband July 6, 2024. I have two daughters, ages 7 and 15. My family is my world, and I have worked hard to get where I am because of them.
Growing up, my dad taught me to do carpentry, electrical work, plumbing and just about any other skill you would need. He is the reason I went to college to get my degree and why I love fixing anything I can put my hands on.
I love to travel, and I have visited most of the states across the nation. I lived in South Africa for a while to learn and enjoy the culture there.
