Most people think career growth opportunities come from doing more, but that’s not true. Career growth opportunities result from understanding the skills you need to move forward, then acquiring and demonstrating those skills.
Join the Employee Career Development Program on May 20 for Decoding the DNA of Career Growth, an interactive workshop where you will break down your role beyond the surface and uncover the real drivers of growth — technical, human and strategic skills.
When you complete the workshop, you will have:
- A clear understanding of the skills you’re actually using
- Insight into what’s keeping you stagnant versus what will move you forward
- A roadmap of future-state skills to align your next career move
The workshop will be from 1:30 to 3 p.m. in Talley Student Union in Room 3285. Go to REPORTER to register to attend the workshop.
Free ice cream will be available at the Our Extraordinary Pack Employee Appreciation Week event at Stafford Commons from noon to 2 p.m.
