Go on a Free Walking Tour of North Campus

The Onboarding Center will host walking tours of NC State’s North Campus on May 27 and June 8.

Guided walking tours of NC State’s North Campus are set for May 27 and June 8 from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.

North Campus, which is sometimes referred to as “original campus,” includes many of the first academic buildings built at NC State. That part of campus is north of the railroad tracks that run along Yarbrough Drive.

The 1.5-mile walking tours will begin outside Talley Student Union in front of the Starbucks on Cates Avenue. The tours will highlight some of NC State’s history and iconic landmarks, including Reynolds Coliseum, University Plaza, which is known as the Brickyard, and the Court of North Carolina.

The Onboarding Center is hosting the tours. If you have questions about the tours or need to arrange accommodations under the Americans with Disabilities Act, send an email to the center at onboardingcenter@ncsu.edu. Remember to wear weather-appropriate clothing and comfortable shoes on the tours.
